Beta Carotene and Lycopene

β- Carotene is a kind of tetraterpene polyene pigment. It is of various kinds, and the most familiar ones are α, β, γ isomers, among them β- Carotene accounts for 80% transformed vitamin A in the human body therefore it is also known as the source of  Vit  A.

Medical experts indicate that Vitamin A can accelerate the cell division, help body growth, accelerate the renewal of epithelial tissue and sebum growth.

β- Carotene can assist and prevent skin damage from ultraviolet radiation. In a smog polluted environment, β- Carotene can protect trachea and minimize the pollution

Lycopene is a natural fat soluble pigment and a kind of carotinoid. Like other carotinoid, lycopene cannot be produced by human body, It can only be obtained from food , and it is the most effective oxidation-resisting active material nowadays.

According to scientific research, lycopene can retard aging, restrain tumor, enhance immunity, reduce cardiovascular diseases and prevent cancers. Lycopene is called “ the new favorite health product in 21^st century”. According to the scientific report, made by A merican medical experts in 1989 and many recent datum, lycopene can delay the prostate cancer development especially sensitive to tumor, and prevent prostate cancer.
